Can this band get anymore awesome? They are so creative with their videos and their music is another great listen. After watching this, I felt an overwhelming urge to play on treadmills. I wonder how many times they hurt themselves to get this in one shot. My favourite part is the skating motion part. They’re a great inspiration!

I really love this song and I love both Daniel and Adele’s voices. So glad I found him, his album is a good listen. It’s funny how I found him. Through my tiny (more like the opposite) crush on Mark Ronson. He’s gorgeous.

Anyways, I’ve probably drawn or rather illustrated seriously this summer combined than the last two years and I enjoyed it. I’m honestly not as good as a lot of classmates but I’m practicing. I need a lot of work and I’m not sure I can practice at the moment. Right now, what I need to focus on is my thesis which I failed to do so this summer. I need to figure my topic soon so I can get a head start at the beginning of thesis class.

So I really made this entry because of the movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I simply adore this movie, it’s got to be one of my top favourites. I love the shots in this movie, lighting, colours, concept, even the actors, just everything about it. Why would anyone want to completely erase the memory of a person from their mind? You must hate that person so strongly to want to do that. But also you must love a person so strong that it allows them to hurt you that deep. Okay…I’m half asleep and I don’t know where that’s going. It made sense in my head. I have another question. If you were to erase that person from your mind, wouldn’t you not be you anymore? Wouldn’t you feel something is missing still? Okay, maybe I should just stop thinking before more nonsensical questions come up. 

Before I go, I have to post one of my fave parts from this movie. “Please let me keep this memory.” Around this part of the movie, he realizes how much he loved her or maybe what he love about her or in her. At this point, he regrets his decision to erase her and screams at them to stop this helplessly. Gosh, I fell in love with this movie again.

I’ve thought of a few more and found some that I could possibly do:

• the psychology of attraction – I feel it’s a dead end, where do I go with this? It’s interesting to read about and extremely entertaining but where to next?
• Different types of information graphics – the history of it, what form did it begin with? how did it change? what are the advantages and disadvantages? how can it be improved? what is wrong with current model? what kind of tools are being used? most popular? most effective?
• the psychology of decision making – how does it affect our health? how do we make choices? what kind of choices are there? does decision making hurt productivity?
• How much do people (particularly college students or full-time working people) spend on food? What kind of food do they eat? What affects their decision? What do people think about food in general? Where do they shop? How they cook and eat? What goes on in their kitchen? How many people diet? Why? Focus on area? Compare to another? Say downtown Toronto to Scarborough? Types of food? Ethnic foods? Location of types of food? What time? Who they eat with? Food psychology? Map out Toronto’s eating habits?
• How much do we think about where our food has come from? What does  it take to make a pizza? What are the origins of the ingredients?
• study the flow of life in canada compared to another country? Is life moving too fast for us to enjoy in Canada? Compared to say Europe? Stress levels? Employment?
• women in the ruban city and workplace
• perception of suburban life to city life – freedom, isolation, social integration and interaction
• What is a community?
